my 1st week at Sch of military medicine..

yes no doubt life's very slack.. in fact too slack that some asked for a more xiong 5bx... wat we do everyday is jus either sleeping, takin meals, havin canteen breaks, havin admin time or having lectures in audi or practical lessons in trainin shed.. so life's SUPER slack... got this bunk mate from ninja was shocked to have 1 hr admin time after lunch.. lol..


but e course to me i believe is very meaningful.. e paramedic skills we learn (yes 13 textbooks, no less) will stay will us even after ns and its a skill that cannot be obtained easily in e civilian world, unlike driving, although being a driver in ns would be really cool...

in 1 week (8 weeks more), i've learnt how to use oxygen cylinder to resuscitate, suck fluids (aspirate) and to respirate, learnt how to clear airways, learn about shock.. and how to IV... intravenous fusion.. really cool although its not easy to be a poker or a pokee.. there'll always be e phobia.. (the smaller e number, the bigger e needle... )

i'm sure in the remaining few weeks i'll pick up more useful skills that who noes might be useful in e future...

nee soon seems far but $12 cab nia.. 4 pple share very reasonable.. nt so bad after all.. and the food there is much much much much better than that island.. because at SMM, we see stars and lots of crabs...


my platoon comprises of mainly rj/hc/nj/vj pple.. like godly.. haha.. some from units with ite / o level certs and some poly.. overall they're all very fun loving pple.. jus startin to get to know each other.. and my longest route march there is like 6km.. hahaha...
