F1 2009

well the season's officially under way..

i wont even bother trying to deny how ugly the cars look with the new regulations.. except for perhaps brawngp.. theirs look rather futuristic..

ferrari's not going very good at the moment but anyway here's a few stuff i found interesting..


Kinetic Energy Recovery System.. its almost like need for speed incorporated into F1.. all the extra power boosting and what not.. quite cool and its supposed to aid overtaking and make the whole affair more interesting.. we'll see how things work out over e course of the season.. plus its in tandem with f1's aim to go green.. YEAH right..


apparently some teams have found loopholes in the rules and have unfairly interpreted them to their advantage.. regarding the use of diffusers.. teams using them are obviously performing really well at the moment.. cheats.. that could change when the matter is brought to court in time to come..


engines now have to be used for 3 races from 2 previously.. supposed to be part of cost cutting measures.. together with less practice during the season..


may it be a really interesting season ahead..
