its nice not to have to worry about money..

because i know the sucky feeling of feeling poor.. when your a/c balance lingers dangerously at 3 digits because most of your cash are tied up in stocks.. =x

haven had to really worry about finances since maybe the middle of last year.. (well apart from japan trip where i had to keep controlling the budget of 58k yen cuz that was all the yen i had =x )

the feeling is awweeeesssoommmeee... dont really have to keep track of how much i'm spending so long as i'm having fun.. because if i use the utility theory to classify every expenditure, i'm probably gonna miss out on soo much enjoyable stuff in life..

if i had sold all my f1 tickets last sept, den those 4 wonderful days would have been lost.. those were def worth much more than 2k..

if i hadnt decided to spend 1.4k on hall this sem, i would still be travelling sooo much.. without foosball sessions at night.. =) and luckily rey also thinks along the same line cuz doing tuts in hall is much more enjoyable.. (weekends nua!!)

if i'd bulked on the 20k required for uk sep, i would actually have to go for IA instead.. oh god NO! look where i am now.. counting down exactly 1 year more to sep!!

i guess what i'm saying is, i've come to realise that sometimes things look expensive, but they're so worth it.. muahaha.. (unlike some of those horrible tasting japan snacks that cost so much...) yes, its impt to ensure the perpetuation of wealth by saving up, but that shdnt mean stinging and depriving myself of fun when i'm still young!!

oh yea speaking of foosball (NOT FOOLSBALL), loving it.. missed it from those days back at changi medical centre.. next time i'll ensure there's 1 table in my home and i'll hire experts to keep me occupied! lol..

i still remember the first time i played with one senior.. omg i totally got owned 10-0.. super emo.. and i promised myself that i'd work really really hard and master the game.. i even trained alone during duty.. slowly but surely, i improved.. most satisfyingly, i avenged my 10-0 defeat, by the same margin.. wootness..

well RH's table suck in comparison, probably due to excessive wear n tear.. but still, one of my fav pastimes!! reflexes, power, speed and accuracy, all vital components of mastering e game :)

determination and discipline.. it gets me to places!
