watched poseidon ytd.. omg the way that guy did cpr, like shit!! little wonder the woman died.. lol..

digressing, do u know that u can be sued if u perform cpr on someone else if u're not certified to perform cpr? *cough* i'm certified *cough* ..

imagine this..... one day u're on the mrt.. this person faint.. no pulse.. den u do cpr on him and tyco-ly save his life.. den guess wat? next day he send u lawyer letter.. lol.. hilarious.. anw if u really do cpr, rmb to tell the paramedic how long u did already and how many ribs u crack (seriously)...


back to the topic.. the show sucks.. thats e truth.. jus watched for fun only.. but i cant help but notice that the whole show super related to what i learnt as a medic and in navy.. haha.. and also made me wanna go cruise again.. zzz..

the cpr, life rafts, drowning, jumping from ship, satellite rescue thingy, flares, fire extinguishers (??) etc.. feel tt its really impt to know safety procedures where ever u are (eg. escape routes, using life jacket, etc) .. u'll never noe wat could happen..


on another note.. diving..
probably one of e most dangerous sport in the world.. and very costly too..

its a super complicated hobby.. i mug till i damn sick liao.. seriously have no idea why got so many pple go diving.. lolz..


jus the equipment u've to carry weighs a ton.. flippers, air supply, etc la..
and then u've to be careful when descending and ascending.. do it too fast and u risk getting barotrauma (baro = pressure, trauma = illness)[boyle's law], ascend too fast and u might get decompression illness (or bends) because of the nitrogen bubbles [boyle's law], go too deep and u get nitrogen narcosis [Henry's law].. or u could get oxygen toxicity if u breathe O2 too long [Dalton's law]... its a nightmare...

and i tell u, the treatment, is super expensive.. only 3 places in singapore provides treatment for diving related injuries.. navy and i think sgh and 1 more private 1.. u'll be placed in a chamber that'll be pressurerized (using air) to create an underwater enviroment.. den the bubbles/air will etc etc etc..


plus there're DMA (dangerous marine animals).. sea shells on the seabed are live.. there're organisms living within.. and some idiots go pick, and get poisoned (venemous), still got sharks etc..
