Wow.

Remember I sold $2,200 tickets via paypal? Well on race day, I met up with them and had a drink after the race. Thus explaining the $20 champagne.

Well, they're from UK (Birmingham), Kevin and Jo, extremely friendly!!! - they nearly missed the race because he thought it was at 10pm! :S

So I bought drinks and asked them for dinner on Friday, just before they would leave. (after returning from Phuket)


But oh my god I never expected dinner to be DINNER (full caps). Though they said they'd pay, yea, but $540 for dinner? Never!


So we talked, and I could visit during SEP next autumn! wootness! Saw a pic of their house, and it was like old english, countryside, and wow! (and they have chickens, a farm, and even bee hives for their own honey!! :o)


Un-freaking-believable.


No more procrastinating for SEP. I NEED TO GO TO UK!!



Fate's a funny thing. I'm glad I didn't back out simply because it was an international transaction and that setting up paypal was a tad troublesome. =)
