an intelligent woman would know not to gauge a man by sparse incidents of particular potrayal of affection but rather by the taking care of everyday needs. the small details... things which makes her life better easier and less stressful... the ability to always think from her perspective. caring gestures always comes after caring thoughts. gifts n such are only mediums to display affections..

generally however, women being women will often take these genuine acts for granted and rather remember only specfic incidents where she attains pleasure/touches her heart from for example a new LV bag , an expensive candlelight dinner...
