memory, memory, memory. so void of the need for understanding. send in a robot and it'll regurgitate and get full marks.

open book would have been good, and they could tweak the format to include critical questions, instead of making us memorise pointless mechanisms which we probably will never use, or, if need be, would have this cool little invention called google to assist us.
