I'm going to have to start saving up for the 6 months there!! well preliminary target is 25k for a really enjoyable experience.. i dn want to burden my parents too much so hopefully i can self finance.. rock! =) and i got a reply from my friend!!!

It is great to hear from you again...

Birmingham Uni will be fantastic. As you probably are aware, its a traditional British university a couple of miles from the city centre, so it hopefully will not feel that different from Singapore (apart from the cold and the age of the buildings and infrastructure).

It is about 25 miles from Jo and I, so we should get plenty of opportunities to meet up. I know a year is a long time, but if you have any questions about Birmingham or getting things organised send me an e-mail and I will try to help.
