umbrella..

a few weeks ago, i got drenched in the rain... so i bought an umbrella.. foldable kind that i put into my bag.. just in case cuz i walk a lot of unsheltered routes daily and its the monsoon season..


so i was at taka tt day, and we were going to walk to ps.. and it was raining.. ok so it happened tt i wanted to use the umbrella already.. and sh said that it was so gay..


i contemplated a while but decided to go ahead using it anyway..

guess wat? he tried to squeeze into the area sheltered by the umbrella too la.. UNCONCEIVABLE... and he said it was gay? :S now 2 guys sharing one and its not called gay? *bangs head*



ok so watever i have no qualms about sharing the umbrella actually.. i'm not bothered by what others think.. as long as we dun get wet.. true wat.. lol.. so i was holding the umbrella in btw us but here's what he did.. he was also grapping the umbrella can? [which he stopped doing eventually]

so now imagine this.. 2 guys, sharing an umbrella, both holding it, and cuddled together closely.. hahahaha ok the cuddled is an overstatement but ya.. NOT GAY...

and he's complaining about rain drops on his arm..


is he gay? yuk ching can u attest to that or otherwise? lol..

anw digressing.. i read something meaningful the other day.. about spending money.. whenever u buy something, like maybe a $500 item, u shouldnt think its JUST $500.. u shd look at it as how much that money would be in 40 years time, then decide again if u really want to buy that item..

here's how to calculate.. imagine ur money growing at 10% a year (rather modest but ya..) $500 today would then be = $500 X 1.1^40= a very large number = $22,000 ++ ...

yea so next time b4 u spend money, think twice.. =D
