I'm going to attempt 6 modules next sem knowing how tough the following semesters will be. Already getting the jitters looking at a few of the modules above.

I know worrying isnt gonna help. Only true effort and studying smart counts. (Ok I know it didnt count for my PC1431. yada yada.)

Next sem is when the real competition with my Chem eng cohort begins. I need to prepare myself mentally for whats ahead. The past sem was like a honeymoon where the 2 core modules were taken with most of the engin cohort.

If I want to SEP at UK I'm going to need a good cap.

And I'm going to try my luck for scholarships again. Year 1 undergrads can try. If i get one that would save money and save myself from the headache of looking for a job. Yeah.



On another note, I really hate those ah tiongs. They raise the standard of maths modules too drastically. Life would really be much relaxed if it wasnt for them. Crossing my fingers that I get an A next sem for Maths II.

But seriously, dont you think they're everywhere in the university? They're like an army on an invasion mission. If we're not careful one fine day they'll announce that "新加坡回归 tiong land". And when the ICJ judges come to investigate, they'll see all the tiongs around and judge against us.



Oh well, wish me luck.

This vacation, I picked up...



knitting.. i know.. unbelievable right.. but yea.. i knitted that.. very hideous looking but not bad for my first time..

and now i can cross-stitch too..

laughs.. imho, cross-stitch is more idiot-proof..



now I can fold flowers.. nice? i did 24 of them.. cost saving since they cost about 25 cents each.. lol..

trying to pick up tennis too..



to sum up my holidays, i must've been really bored...

I put in so much effort for my PC1431..

I only tried questions from textbook for this module..

I spent the most time revising physics..

Paid the most attention for the module..

Only module with lab and online assignment..

And yet its the worst module (B+)..


I guess life always has its own way of screwing you..

Going to S/U it..


Hopefully I wun come to regret this..

recently i've been exposed to more mediacorp shows and naturally i cant help but notice some distasteful commercials..


let's start with london choco roll.. need i say more? the tune keeps repeating and its so bloody irritating.. i swear myself off it.


then there's the poliden advert.. "我吃了开心果更开心"... and i'm like "wat the hell"..
the malaysian accent is so damn thick and so lame shit.. low class..


another dental related.. sensodyne.. ditto above.. the accent (think taiwan) is horrible.. and the person in the dental outfit looks so fake.. seems as if they're trying to give the impression that she's a dentist..


if i'm not wrong. there's another pepsi one where the one guy outruns a cheetah and his friend proclaims in thick malaysian accent again.. "that's why i dun keep a cheetah".. erm.. no link.. i wun be drinking pepsi.. laughs..


last one i can recall.. i dont know the brand but 2 aunties need at a shopping mall (according to girlfriend its parkmall i think haha) and one of them has problem climbing the stairs.. den the other auntie offers her the glusosamine pills and miraculously she can climb the stairs.. wow... try harder ok?




on another hand, the jackie chan advert is quite new and refreshing..

this might come across as arrogance but its not my intention..


i'm just immensely proud of securing 2 A+ s...

i'm happy! congrats to those who've done well but for those who din meet your own expectations, cheer up and dun let ur heads down ok?

on another note:

its really boring.. yet time flies..

look at the date, its almost 2009, and another sem is gonna begin.. i seriously think i'm wasting myself away.. :S


haven really done much thus far.. apart from visiting arcades rather frequently and trying to learn to play tennis (only once to date)..

results will be out soon.. i'm jus hoping i dun fare terribly at physics..

blogging seems new to me.. maybe because i haven done it in a long time.. =x

exams are over..

and now i know my decision to take pc1431 was a bad one.. filled with regrets..

darn! wat a waste!


oh well.. get on with it.. i'm just hoping my other modules dun spring any surprises..


went to the love amplified concert a few days back.. den proceeded to have supper at rochor.. the you tiao is yum... =x


our asian idol is an utter disappointment.. he told this lame joke about "2 things to worry about".. CMI.. you don't want to hear it, trust me..

hossan leong was very amusing.. his joke about air stewardess was miles better.. and dim sum dolly's car park fatimah impersonation skit was also good..


then again everyone was jus waiting for stephanie sun.. the organisers weren't dumb too.. hers was the last act.. otherwise i bet everyone would have left.. laughs..
