wow.. what a heck of a journey..

things happened so fast and furious this week...


1st things 1st, i could be staying in hall next sem.. yea.. WOW rite... the unthinkable is about to happen.. i don't know where to start.. its just a roller coaster ride with all the ups and down.. got hope, no hope, and now e sun shining's brightly =) the coincidence is stunning..


and there's japan, qz n diana have started planning n booking.. the excitement is clearly spreading into my room.. lol..


and i'm already looking forward to going to the states next year to join diana on work and travel... :O or to australia for vacation with friends..



that said, i've been retrenched for a month. the feeling sucks and i dont feel so rich anymore.. now i'm just looking forward to 11 months later.. =)



haven really gotten into the study gear though its 3 weeks away.. sigh.. i need to somehow find the determination to wean off my addition to the internet!! bleah!

i get that when i manage those insane tutorial questions.. =)

the feeling is quite good!!!

cant believe my luck for crystallization cuz both of my compounds could be recrystallized using water as single solvent... to think i actually lost sleep over it the "weird" solubility.. falalalalalala...

amazing... and i dun really care that i missed the opportunity to learn how to do 2 solvent recrystallization.. :P

while we're on the topic of lab and reports, seems like the chemistry dept is getting quite particular about copying peers/seniors reports.. lol.. about time?? what took them so long... rofl.. thankfully i'm only left with 1 last CM lab report and then its adios.. i mean, who can actually stand not "refering" to various sources?

think about it...

do it yourself, take ~6 hours (just an analogy), get B
make unethical references, take ~2 hours, get A

you don't need a genius to work that out...


IMPT note: while you can advertise on IVLE to pass your CM lab reports to whoever buys your book, Never, Never advertise to sell them... hahaha keith.. you'll get your ass hauled up to the Chem dept and warned..

What's up with the world.

it gets seriously frustrating when people are late.

i'm not talking about 5-10 mins.. those are overlook-able (no such word, yes i know that) cuz maybe you could get multi-combo-ed with red lights while driving or the bus driver is trying to prevent bus bunching (i need to bitch about this another time).. - if you're the waiting party you can jus head to the loo or get a drink..

Nooooooooooo. I'm talking about 30 mins, 45mins, HOURS late. LIKE REALLY LATE. Stuff like waking up late, sleeping late etc, just a load of crap.


I still believe punctuality is a virtue. i dun think i've been late by >30 mins ever. its just horrible and it wastes my time.

omg i cant believe its the SECOND time i got busted for stupid offences.

the first time, it was no seat belt.
today, no headlights.

crap. its like mistakes every learning driver wouldnt forget..

as predicted, i screwed my thermo mids.. haha.. no surprise there because i knew it the moment i saw the question and my mind just blanked..

its funny how i aced the fluids mid which was 9 hours after f1 raceday and yet, the test furthest from it, i fumbled..

and hence, the irony.


i guess that's life's way of screwing with you.. haha..

and you can do really silly and embarrassing stuff with them, like sing gibberish songs with randomly made up lyrics.. well at least for me i cant do that outside.. rofl..


but its definitely not fun when they fart. period. LOL.. sometimes i jus wanna strangle him.. or when they start acting like spoilt brat and fight for every and any single thing.. like food, the car, tv, fan, and x^100 additional things.. some you probably can think of, and some you won't even in your wildest imagination..

to top it off, when they engage in shouting matches with parents and den you cant concentrate on what you're reading..


well, they're already there, whether you like it or not.. instead of making ur life miserable, accept it and live with it.. there's fun to be derived =)

Remember I sold $2,200 tickets via paypal? Well on race day, I met up with them and had a drink after the race. Thus explaining the $20 champagne.

Well, they're from UK (Birmingham), Kevin and Jo, extremely friendly!!! - they nearly missed the race because he thought it was at 10pm! :S

So I bought drinks and asked them for dinner on Friday, just before they would leave. (after returning from Phuket)


But oh my god I never expected dinner to be DINNER (full caps). Though they said they'd pay, yea, but $540 for dinner? Never!


So we talked, and I could visit during SEP next autumn! wootness! Saw a pic of their house, and it was like old english, countryside, and wow! (and they have chickens, a farm, and even bee hives for their own honey!! :o)


Un-freaking-believable.


No more procrastinating for SEP. I NEED TO GO TO UK!!



Fate's a funny thing. I'm glad I didn't back out simply because it was an international transaction and that setting up paypal was a tad troublesome. =)
