In EG1413, we are taught about fallacies in arguments.

To name a few,

Appeal to pity
Snob appeal
Hasty generalization
Poisoning the well

Arguments with fallacies are deemed invalid and unsound.

The same goes for the following argument:

If you commit crimes and not repent, you will rot in hell. (and of course the converse)

This I'm afraid is a pathetic appeal to fear.


A totally unsound argument bought by millions all over. *wink*

Earlier in January, my SS lecturer informed me that the Earth is 4.5 BILLION years old consisting of various era, eons, periods and epochs.


To my dismay, I have just been informed that Earth was in fact created 6000 years ago by someone. This fact has actually been published in a bestseller published worldwide.


Naturally it makes me feel cheated by my lecturer, for it seems I have paid tuition fees in vain. He had been lying to me. (or NOT)

The implications spread wide and far. The Science Centre, in that case, is apparently staging an elaborate scam by offering dinosaurs remains for viewing.


Science, it seems, is a make-believe discipline to fool the unwise. Carbon/radioactive dating are simply ponzi-styled scams used to blur the truth.


Wake up people. Stand on the right side.

One day, the I fear the PPAP will rule the nation. For they will mass email each other and create the Peer Pressure Action Party and overthrow the current regime.

Homosexuality will be deemed an capital offence and violators will be "split by 5 horses".

Ha!


Be afraid, very afraid. For they can raise millions in hours to construct auditoriums to meet once a week. I see where they are coming from.

With larger locations they can accomodate more people. And when the time is ripe, they will create even larger places. Ah.. the vicious cycle...

Soon, the third IR will be constructed using funds collected in minutes. Only that, no more floor area will be allocated for casinos, for it is in direct violations of beliefs.


I shudder to think what the area for casinos will be designated for.

on an individual level, i've been hooked on that game... damn!



once again, exams are around the corner again.. haven really been putting in a lot of effort.. jus doing what is required.

well, fared relatively well for most of the intra-term assignments.. apart from SS, which i'm probably going to have to S/U? LOL.. i'll stil put in the effort though.. let's hope i dun screw up!
